arteBA FOCUS

Aldo de Sousa presented at arteBA Focus the work of Jorge Lezama (1921 - 2011) and the Chilean artist Benjamín Ossa (1984). The meeting arises from the project that sustains the gallery to unite authors of different generations and trajectories to forge a timeless communion in the practice of the trade.
arteBA Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, organizes the second edition of arteBA Focus / District of the Arts, a platform of contemporary Argentine art that innovates both in the exhibition format and in its curatorial proposal. It took place on November 4 and 5 at Arenas Studios, Av. Pedro de Mendoza 965, La Boca.
This edition was curated by Florencia Battiti (curator of Parque de la Memoria) and Sebastián Vidal Mackinson (independent curator), who worked together with the 31 Argentine galleries participating in the selection of the works of the 68 artists that were exhibited in a lay out specially designed by architect Ariel Jacubovich.
